APJ Abdul Kalam life

APJ Abdul Kalam was a person of very calm nature since childhood. He was born in Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu in a middle class Muslim family. APJ Abdul Kalam Biography (Education, Awards, Discovery). Kalam’s early life

Kalam did not believe in caste religion since childhood. In the area where he lived, all the Muslim Hindus lived together. Kalam’s best friend Ramanand Shastri, Aurobindo, Shiv Prakashan. His parents were seen as an ideal couple in the society, their mother’s family was highly respected and one of their descendants was given the title of brave by the British. There was a very old mosque in the area where he lived. Where in the evening his father used to take him along for Namaz. Namaz was offered in Arabic language. Lakshmana Sastri, the eldest priest of the Rameshwaram temple, was an integral friend of his father. Jalaluddin used to build boats near the beach with his father, a local contractor, Ahmed Jalaluddin became an intimate friend of Kalam despite the difference in age. Jalaluddin Kalam was always told about the achievements of educated people, scientific discoveries, contemporary literature and medical science. He was the one who made Kalam come out of the limited circle and realize the new world.

Kalam’s early education

He was born on 15 October 1931 in Dhanushkodi, Madras (now Tamil Nadu Rameswaram) in a middle class Tamil family. His father Jainulabdeen was not a very rich person, his mother Aashiyamma was an ideal woman. He did his schooling from Schwartz Matriculan, Ramanathapuram. After that enrolled in St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli for Intermediate studies. Kalam, who completed his studies at Madras Institute of Technology (M.IT) in 1960, was a man of flying since childhood.

Discovery of Kalam

Kalam reached the Indian Space Research Center (ISRO) for the first time. Kalam was the project director, made SLV3 (S.L.V 3), which led to the manufacture of missiles named Agni, Prithvi, Akash.

Place and time of death

27 July 2015 While giving a speech in Shillong (Meghalaya) in the evening, then suddenly suffered cardiac arrest and fell unconscious. He was immediately taken to Bethany Hospital, where he died. He had passed away around 7:45 pm. Kalam was about to turn 84 in October 2015. On July 30, the former President was buried with full respect at the P Kerumbu Ground in Rameswaram. More than 3,50,000 people attended the last rites.
