He started his career at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, where he made significant contributions to the development of launch vehicle technology. Sivan played a key role in the design and development of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), which later became one of ISRO’s most successful launch vehicles.
