Abhinav Bindra Birth and Early Life 

Abhinav Bindra was born on 28 September 1982 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand (India). He belongs to a Sikh (Punjabi) family. Abhinav Bindra loved to shoot since childhood. That’s why Abhinav’s father had been teaching shooting to Abhinav since childhood.

Abhinav Bindra was fond of shooting since childhood. So Abhinav’s father had arranged for him to shoot at his home in Patiala. After this, Abhinav Bindra represented India in the Commonwealth Games for the first time in 1998 at the age of 15. He was the youngest participant in the game. After this Abhinav Bindra won the bronze medal in the World Cup in 2001, in which Abhinav had set a new junior world record 597/600. Abhinav also won the World Shooting Championship.
