Major  Sandeep Unnikrishnan was born on 15 March 1977 in a Malayali middle class Hindu family in Kerala (India). Sandeep Maheshwari’s family had moved to Bengaluru from a district in Kerala. Major Sandeep had his early education from Frank Anthony Public School in Bangalore. Later in the year 1995, he passed 12th from ICS from Science stream, then in the year 1995 itself took the exam of NDA National Defense Academy (National Defense Academy), and did three years of training. Became an Indian soldier in the year 1999.

Army Career of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan

Passed 12th from Science stream in the year 1995, and participated in the NDA National Defense Academy (National Defense Academy) examination and passed. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan got selected in NDA’s 94 course. On 12 June 1999, after completing three years of training in NDA and one year in IIM, he was appointed as the 7th Battalion Major in the Bihar Regiment. Shortly thereafter kargil war  I got a chance to participate in Operation Vijay during. It was only after the end of the Kargil War that Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was promoted to the rank of Captain and on 12 June 2002 to the rank of Major. After dropping into the commando wing, he was trained at High altitude warfare school, Gulmarg. Megha Sandeep survived in Siya ji Gujarat Rajasthan Jammu Kashmir. He then decided to join NSG (National Security Guard) , and in January 2007, Major Sandeep’s NSG training ended and he was appointed as Energy’s 51 Special Training Officer. On 26 November 2008, the NSG was called in the Mumbai Taj Hotel attack 26/11 . In that the team of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan planned the Black Tornado Operation and  He had also succeeded by saving people’s lives.

• Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan saved many lives in the 26/11 terror attack on Mumbai Taj Hotel in the year 2008.
• Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab of Lashkar and Tayyav Islamic Organization was behind the 26/11 attack. Who was hanged in Pune (Maharashtra) on 21st November 2012.
• Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Team commandos of 51 Special Group NSG who conducted Black Tornato operation to rescue people trapped in Taj Hotel .
• Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan reached the third floor of Taj Hotel with his 10 commandos. They felt that many people were trapped here, who were kept locked in the room by the terrorists, Major Sandeep’s team saved their lives by breaking the door of the room and got them out of the Taj Hotel.
• Major As soon as Sandeep’s team broke the door and reached inside, the terrorists started firing. During the firing, Commando Sunil Yadav, who was a member and friend of Major Sandeep’s team, got shot. While saving the life of Commando Sunil Yadav, Major Sandeep sent him out.
