Gauri Sawant Birth and early life

 Gauri Sawant was born on 2 July 1979 in Pune, Maharashtra. He was born in a Marathi family. Gauri Sawant’s parents had a daughter first, then Gauri Sawant was born on the second number. The family members were very happy because a boy was born in their house. Gauri Sawant’s parents named her Ganesh Nandan, but as Gauri Sawant grew up, her choice, dress, manner of speaking all changed. Ganesh Nandan started becoming a cause of embarrassment for the family members. Gori sawant english.

Gauri had to leave home at the age of 16 

The beginning of Gauri Sawant’s life was full of difficulties. In his life, he had to face difficulties step by step. When Gauri Sawant was born, her parents named Gauri as Ganesh Nandan. The family members were very happy to be a boy, but when Ganesha’s age increased, his behavior, gait, dress started changing. He liked to work with all the girls. On doing this, Ganesh’s father used to shout at him a lot. But Ganesha’s mother loved her very much. But when Ganesha was 7 years old, his mother died. Then it was not his grandmother who brought him up. When Ganesha started going to school, children and teachers used to enjoy Ganesha there too. The family, society and people used to tease Ganesh with every few names like girl, eunuch, eunuch, six etc. His father was starting to feel embarrassed because of Ganesha. Father had stopped talking to Ganesh. Ganesh tried hard to explain his point to his father, but the father did not understand. Then he decided to leave the house at the age of 16. Ganesh went to Mumbai with 60 thousand rupees from home.

Ganesh reached Mumbai, but at that time Ganesh had nothing to do with home, clothes, food. Then he begged by standing near the signal. After a few days, she decided that I have to live like a girl, dress up, wear saris, etc. Ganesh had to eat his hard earned money. And had to live a life of honor. So she started living with transgender community in Dadar, Mumbai. 

She was educated and then “Humsafar” associated with the trust and started working for the help of transgenders. With the help of “Humsafar Trust”, she got herself done vaginoplasty, and forever she became Gauri Sawant from Ganesh Nandan. After this, in the year 2000, Gauri Sawant formed an organization which was named “Sakhi Char Chowghi”. In this institution, he started working for the help and benefit of eunuchs. Whatever happened in her life, she did not want to let this happen in the life of a transgender.

Sex worker’s daughter adopted 

Gauri Sawant says that in the year 2006, a disciple of mine came to me, he told me that a few years ago a woman had come to ask you for pickles,  He has died due to illness. Her house has been sold, and she also has a 3-year-old daughter. Gauri Sawant went to that woman’s house. There was the body of the woman, there were two-three men, as well as the survivors. A man had a loan of Rs 2 lakh on that woman, so he was taking the girl child for sale. But Gauri Sawant took the child from that man, and said that I have a loan of 5 lakh rupees on this woman, this girl will remain with me. I will give you your 2 lakh rupees. Gauri brought that girl to her house. Named that girl Gayatri. Transgender did not have the right to adopt a child, but Gauri fought this battle and became the official mother of Gayatri.  Today Gayatri has turned 24 and she has also become a dentist. Also currently pursuing further studies.

25 lakh won in KBC

Gauri Sawant won Rs 25 lakh in season 9 of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati). Gauri Sawant was called in KBC because she used to help the children of sex workers. With this money, he built a trust for the children of sex workers. Whose name was named “Aji’s house”. But Amitabh Bachchan changed the name of the trust to “Nani Ka Ghar”.
